Survivors of developmental and complex trauma face a complicated and often lengthy journey of healing. Many struggle to overcome emotional trauma, navigate which relationships are healthy and safe, and trust counselors, therapists, and other service providers; all in addition to finding the right opportunities for recovery, education and employment that will propel them forward.
 
This is the very reason The Wild Hope was founded; to provide a safe, experiential, and non-traditional way for survivors to engage in the healing process.  Our therapists and equine professionals are trained in the neurobiology of trauma and its effects on a person's heart, mind, and soul. They, along with the authentic presence of a horse give survivors the space and grace they need to begin the hard work of recovery and healing.
